Our aim is to assist the child to be prepared, not just for school, but also for life. Special children also deserve the best.

We are a kindergarden-based facility, currently looking after 20 handicapped children. We collect them from their homes in the morning and take them to a center where they follow an educational programme, teaching them not only basic education but also physical movement and mobility, as well as providing a well balanced meal during the day

Autism Association Namibia is an association made up of parents, their children with ASC, adults with ASC and professionals who are interested in promoting the well-being of persons with autism spectrum disorders within Namibia, and to provide a network between the various autism organisations world-wide. Our aim is to provide support and assistance as well as training in the field of autism to parents and professionals.

Mission
To facilitate development towards equal opportunities for children with language speech and hearing impairments; to ensure equal access to education, training and all other facilities; and to promote services to meet these children’s special needs as early as possible.

CLaSH runs Namibia’s only specialised Pre-School and Day-Care Unit for children, who are deaf.

Dagbreek is a school for learners who are intellectually impaired. The school meets the needs of children with Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy as well as those with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) including Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Aspergers Syndrome, Retts Sydrome, Childhood Disintegrative Disorders (CDD) and PDD-NOS.
The age range of the learners is between 7 and 18 years.

DSAN provides information and support to all people with Down Syndrome in Namibia, and their families and/or caretakers.

Mission
To offer and sustain an effective, efficient and accessable educational services to children with hearing impairments and communication difficulties and to extend the services to the peripheral areas.

Onyose Trust works with children and adults from the age of 8 to 30, with physical, mental, learning and sensory impairments and with mental health problems. The Trust consist of two programmes.

• The Day Programme accommodates youth and adults, five days a week to participate in non-formal education and vocational training activitie.
• The Community Based Rehabilitation Programme (CBR) provides support and training for parents and caregivers of people with disabilities.

Side by Side- Early Intervention Centre is a centre for children with disabilities in Namibia. We are based in Katutura in the Township of Windhoek.

A sports club for people with disabilities that reaches out to Inspire people with/without disabilities to live beyond their limitations through Sports.
